I have some trouble trying to cite some sources on here

I happen to have some trouble trying to cite some sources on here because I do NOT wanna be doing what would be considered "vandalism". If anybody is reading this thread, I could use some pointers on how to do so right so that if a reader if an article was to click on a cited source like a website, it can take them there.
