Albums reviews

[edit]

Please stop adding more than ten reviews to articles. Per WP:ALBUM#Professional reviews, articles should contain no more than ten reviews. Thank you. — Σxplicit 20:01, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Professional reviews

[edit]

Please stop putting the professional reviews in bold letters. Bold letters are for section headings, and for names/titles. Also, reviewers which are websites (Allmusic, RapReviews, Slant, etc.) do not get italics. Italics are for titles of actual prints (magazines, albums, movies, books - not websites.)
I sugest giving the Wikipedia style guidelines a thorough read.--Blastmaster11 (talk) 23:17, 30 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Album reviews

[edit]

Hey, you're doing an awesome job of adding reviews to album articles! Just a few minor formatting things I wanted to point out (some of which are mentioned above):

  • The sources of the reviews should be listed in alphabetical order
  • The names of publications should be italicized (Rolling Stone, The Source), the names of websites should not (Allmusic, RapReviews)
  • Ratings of more than 5 stars should be written out (e.g. 6/10) in parentheses and shouldn't use the ratings template
  • Ratings shouldn't be italicized or in boldface (i.e. B not B, favorable not favorable)

Of course, technically, reviews aren't supposed to be included in infoboxes any more but better there than not at all. Keep up the good work! TheJazzDalek (talk) 00:30, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see you're continuing to put ratings in boldface, in addition, you've changed some existing ratings to incorrectly reflect the actual review (e.g. a RapReviews rating 4/10 that you changed to 4/5). Please stop doing that. It's great that you're adding reviews but please don't expect others to clean up behind you. TheJazzDalek (talk) 15:00, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
hello TheJazzDalek
As you know my name is ozler, I'm a little new in wiki and my english doesn't allow me to always understand your notices.
I want to apologise for this, i'll try to do the things correctly for now.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ozler (talkcontribs) 17:15, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. If there's ever anything that you don't understand, please don't hesitate to ask. Like I said, you're doing a great job of adding reviews; your work is appreciated. TheJazzDalek (talk) 20:51, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Back to Love (Anthony Hamilton album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page About (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm Dan56. I noticed that you recently removed some content from O.N.I.F.C. without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Dan56 (talk) 14:29, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
