SF Building Trades moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, SF Building Trades, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:31, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

San Fran Building Trade Unions

[edit]

Hello! I saw you mention you have an interest in SF's building trade unions/it's history. Just by chance I actually happened to stumble across a union logo that might be a useful starting point?

I uploaded the image to wikimedia so I'll share it here.

After doing some googling this page also seems related: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olaf_Tveitmoe (Just be advised unfortunately this person in particular was also a racist. But the article does link to other unions present at the time in San Fran which could be a good starting off point research wise to finding history of the major building trade unions in SF.)

I also found an archive for a San Francisco paper called Organized Labor that might be useful.
