Multiple accounts[edit]

I see that you have switched to using a second account, and used it to create a new copy of an article which you had been informed did not comply with Wikipedia standards. I don't know why you chose to use a second account, but all the messages you have received still apply, no matter what account you use. You should be careful, in case anyone may get the impression that using a new account, and use of a new title for the article were attempts to avoid detection of the fact that you were acting in ways you had been told were unacceptable: use of multiple accounts for deceptive purposes, known as "sockpuppetry", is considered unacceptable. Also, you should be aware that if you appear to be persistently editing in ways which are not in line with Wikipedia policies and guidelines, an administrator may block your accounts from editing, to prevent further disruption, and waste of time for editors who have to clean up. If you are blocked, that means that the privilege of being allowed to edit Wikipedia will be withdrawn, no matter what accounts you use. Advice on how to learn what is acceptable in Wikipedia[edit]

My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to existing articles, rather than creating new articles. That way any mistakes you make (which you will, because we all do) will be small ones, and you won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, you will get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while you will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to write whole new articles without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start.
