BLOHARDS[edit]

A tag has been placed on BLOHARDS, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Leebo86 23:38, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize if the circumstances made it difficult for you to rectify the problem before it was deleted. To answer one of your later questions: No, nothing is lost when it is deleted, it can always be recovered. According to the deletion log for the article, Royalguard11 was the deleting administrator (the "speedy" in speedy deletion relates to the ability for the admin to delete it without further input from the community, assuming it meets the criteria for speedy deletion). Royalguard11 should be able to restore the article to its former status, and it shouldn't be a problem given the newspaper articles you can cite. Again, I apologize, and I'm glad that the article will be able to reach the standard it deserves. Leebo86 23:09, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, I have no idea what gave you the idea that I was from Hartford, as I've never ever even been to the New England are. I'm not sure if the links you provided are enough to address nobility, but I have undeleted the article and taken it to articles for deletion instead at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BLOHARDS, as we seem to be currently lacking any proposal on nobility of small groups. Thirdly, admins are not required to email anyone anything. There was a warning placed above to let you know. We lack time to tell people what our every move is, so we just don't. The email function is so that wikipedians can email each other without having to give out their email. -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 00:03, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
