Hello, Peter Whiteson Watema, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Lily Tembo, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! –Skywatcher68 (talk) 17:44, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blue warning icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:45, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Lily Tembo born on November 20, 1981 was professionally known as Lily T. She was a Zambian musician, radio presenter, journalist and charity worker. Lily was raised in Kabwe, Zambia and she grew up in a music-loving family. She was inspired by her father, who played the bongo as well as her sisters and mother, who sung in church. She attended secondary school at the Kabulonga Girls in Lusaka. Later on, she pursued a career in journalism at Evelyn Hone College.
Lily emerged onto the Zambian music scene in 2004 with the album Mvela which started her career and brought her national attention. The album earned her national acclaim and was produced by Peter Whiteson Watema. The Mvela album included songs such as Mwana, Osa Yesa and three times a day. She released her second album Chikwati in 2006. Chikwati was recorded at Kula music studio under the auspices of Elijah Tembo; it featured the hit singles Mvela and Osalila. In 2007 she won two Ngoma awards namely Best female recording artist and Best music video. She was also a news reader for 5 FM radio, a station based in Lusaka.
In 2006 She was recognized by BBC Africa as a promising African celebrity who remained original. She was working on a third album at the time of her death on September 14th 2009. Her song Mvela (moyo siogula) is one of the most covered Zambian songs with over 12 covers that can be found on YouTube.

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator.
