Wikipedia is not for advertising

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Elizabeth Báthory in popular culture. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Regarding your article, Marty Ross

[edit]

Do not remove the article issue tags at the top, and don't say you're just inserting links if you're going to remove maintenance tags. You are going to want to find some sources that demonstrate notability. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:18, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Marty Ross has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

No sources demonstrating notability, no indication that they're gonna come up either, considering almost SPA and spammish behavior of article creator, and nothing coming up for this Marty Ross on a google search.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
