[edit]

Can't you see that it says right there on the top of the page that it's under a large revision??? Please do not revert any more edits until I am done. User:BennyK95 —Preceding undated comment added 01:52, 28 February 2010 (UTC). Sorry did not notice it.My apologies.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 02:01, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your concern about the possible "vandalisim". I had accidently put copyrighted data on the article. And I was correcting the data from what I knew and what I was told by a surgeon. I hope this information was helpfull. - BennyK95 - Talk —Preceding undated comment added 02:39, 28 February 2010 (UTC).[reply]

How to correctly/appropriately archive talk page

[edit]

Regarding the recent revert of an archive of old talk for Talk:Swami Shankarananda (Shiva Yoga). I was attempting to follow the procedure outlined in how to archive a talk page, including adding a reference to the old discussion. It seems that I have missed something in regard to archiving old talk and Im not sure what it is. Was the edit remark missing? Would you kindly enlighten me? Yogidude (talk) 12:37, 1 March 2010 (UTC) Thank you for your message the information how to archive is here in WP:Archive there are 2 ways one is and Paste and other is the Move.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 12:59, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My vandalism page

[edit]

Remember, vandals are allowed (and encouraged (that is if they're going to do nothing productive)) to vandalize at my vandalism page and the rules there are fairly liberal, even including personal attacks (against me only). Just be careful of that in the future. Tommy2010 21:07, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ALBA-BALAMAND user : I need help please

[edit]

Dear Mr. Pharaoh; I am the holder of the following two accounts: VINCSHEKHAN and ALBA-BALAMAND; I was accused of suckpuppetry cause I did not know that I can not make 2 accounts. After that I started using only ALBA-BALAMAND account; until somebody called MARKSHUTTER account (which does not belong to me) had edited one of my pages; then suddenly they blocked my account ALBA-BALAMAND cause the ADMINS thought that MARKSHUTTER account is mine and I was again accused of suckpuppetry. I tried to defend myself a lot, I explained my situation and tried all ways, but like if there was a war against me, no trust; and therefore, I am still blocked. I need help, I want to know what shall I do now; should I create a new account? or shall I contact wikipedia Head Offices or owner? What shall I do in this case?. It was not fair actually this time and the Admins enjoyed blocking me; maybe it is a policy not to accuse Admins, but it's over abused by Admins I beleive. Admins must understand that editors are contributing to develop the Wikipedia with rich information and they deserve little bit more respect and trust; after all, not all editors are aware fully of allll wikipedia policies and they might make mistakes. But this time it was unfair with me; because the account MARKSHUTTER really does not belong to me and never used by me; maybe just a fan's account who decided to edit one page of "WISSAM SHEKHANI". Please help me Mr. Pharaoh. —Preceding ALBA-BALAMAND comment added by 213.181.165.40 (talk) 05:57, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 23:27, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Collaborative news on quippd

[edit]

Hey, I noticed that you listed yourself as invoked in the WikiProject Journalism project, and I hoped that you could help out on another collaborative community edited project.

I run quippd, a collaboratively edited social news site, which mixes elements of Wikis, social networking, and social news sites. You can get some more information about what we are doing at: http://quippd.com/about/intro

Basically, we want to get good coverage on news stories, collaboratively edited, like Wikipedia. We are trying to take the ideas of WikiFactCheck -- to make news less biased and speedier (unlike something like Wikinews). By combining social elements to the project, we hope to bring the benefits of wiki enabled fact checking and npov ideas to the masses.

I hope you check us out -- and feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns.
