Hey there! Thanks for Interdisciplinary arts - it's an excellent start. Articles have to conform to our general notability guideline however, and I'm not sure if this one does. You have to show that the department has been covered in third-party sources in some detail, and then include those references within the article. I have no problem with keeping it if such references can be found (although perhaps a name-change would be in order) but it's going to be a problem if such references don't exist. Hey - thank you! will do... I have several links / references, let me just compile them and i will get them online ASAP. might take til Monday; but it is on my list... thank you!!! PhilStrauss (talk) 23:02, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
OK - added two more references - one from the Columbia College Oral History Project, which covers some of the details of when the department was founded, early years, etc... second one is an article from the Chronicle of Higher Education regarding the program. Limited online citations to those with substance - will be scanning periodicals now to include references in that domain. PhilStrauss (talk) 18:00, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi PhilStrauss, I work in Columbia's library and I wanted to let you know that the link to the Columbia College Oral History Project is no longer valid - the new link is http://www.lib.colum.edu/archives/collections/oralhistory/index.php. Sorry, I don't know how to update that myself! Thanks, (Libraryarchives (talk) 00:48, 4 March 2011 (UTC))
