You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/67.169.98.95 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. MuffledThud (talk) 18:51, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked 2 days for sock puppetry. (blocked by MuZemike 21:00, 19 December 2009 (UTC))[reply]
You may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but please read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Sock Puppetry:

I never used more than one ID to post my comments to the O.V. Michaelsen article deletion discussion. I did cut and paste information from MuffleThud's talk page that included someone else's (unknown to me) IP address. This was clearly not an attempt to deceive. On the contrary, it was an attempt to correct the intentionally deceptive partial quotation by MuffleThud. I did identify myself as the person who supplied the pasted information.

Just to be completely clear, Mr. Michaelsen was completely unaware of who I am (although after the article's deletion I did subsequently contact him). The identity of whomever posted the relevant but suppressed information to MuffleThud's talk page was and still is unknown to me.

My failure to use four tildes at the end of my posts was a newbie mistake. I later did manually enter my identification to all my additions to the discussion. My apologies for my initial error.

So the accusation of "Sock Puppetry" and subsequent trial, conviction, and sentencing in absentia was based on assumptions and speculations that are false and without foundation. However, I am grateful to find out the concept "Sock Puppetry" exists. Quite amusing and well worth the humiliation. Pierre Abelarde 15:28, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
