Be not sad, amigo. :) There's a high level of notability required for inclusion of things like bands, performers, websites, comics, etc. I saw nothing that established the notability of the comic, but undelting it will only take a moment. If you can list verifiable third-party sources establishing the notability, you're good to go. Only takes a moment. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:49, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
And ye be back. Have fun! --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:50, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- Good question. I would say that if the blog is large enough, it might be OK. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:59, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:15, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Best place to find out that info is WP:NOTABILITY. You can also check in at the Wikipedia:Help desk. Basically, you need to have verifiable third-party sources, say a major news publication or major TV coverage. There are, of course, other possibilities. Proposed deletion of Reclaimer Comic
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Reclaimer Comic, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Only claim of significance is being mentioned in Bungie's developer blog. However, the coverage is limited to very short blurbs, such as "The latest episode of Reclaimer is up. All the questions you've had about the series have now been answered." which doesn't count as non-trivial coverage. A Google search excluding forums, blogs, and wiki turns up about 21 unique hits, none of which appear to be reliable sources. No hits in Google News, Books, or Scholar. A less restricted search separating Reclaimer and Comic still fails to find non-trivial reliable coverage. I also can't find any indication that this webcomic has won an award. Therefore, this work seems to fail our guideline of notability for web content.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. — TKD::{talk} 10:52, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
