[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Portal - Oct 25 2008 (2).jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

War of 1812
[edit]Always happy to have a new editor, please read WP:cite it is a lovely history of one ship in the war and it is interesting but the War of 1812 is realitivily huge in comparison. Could you condense it down to one paragraph and provide a few citaions? If you want a larger article you might considered starting one as well.
