List of Puerto Ricans

How is one of my favorite Boricuas doing? I see that you are placing the names in the order that they once were. Some people suggested that the names should be placed in alphabetical order by first names because it was much easier then placing them by surnames since we have many people that use two surnames and "del" and "y" and so on, which they considered confusing. What do you think? Tony the Marine (talk) 07:40, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

  • It is always nice to see you around. I think exactly like you and agree with you on the matter. Some other editor went to a lot of trouble making those changes, if it was I changing what all those names back, I would go crazy. Tony the Marine (talk) 08:12, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm looking after the list since Luis, is no longer doing it and it isn't easy. The non-registered editor who changed the alphabetical order of the list did it in good-faith and since he really didn't vandalize it, I didn't say anything, but I see your point and agree with you. Go ahead and place the list in the correct order. My real main concern with the list is that every new addition be accompanied by a reliable source to proof the person's notablility, regardless of who places the name which includes me, that's all. Before we posted the verifiable rule, Ray and I went through every name in the list to check their notability.

Hey, check out my lastest article on an amazing person that should serve as an inspiration to our youth, Hila Levy. Tony the Marine (talk) 01:01, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Lolita Lebrón‎

I have reverted the addition for the time being, ad-endi isn't allowing me entry without a fee, thus the material can't be checked without paying, that is a risk that can't be held after the article has gone to GAN. I would recommend citing the newspaper itself, printed references can't go dead. - Caribbean~H.Q. 03:17, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Disc page? - Caribbean~H.Q. 03:21, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Can you find me the article's author? I'mn going to use the "cite book" template, but we need that info. - Caribbean~H.Q. 03:30, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
I assumed so, the template seems to be working without the author field, so there's no problem. - Caribbean~H.Q. 05:27, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
I though he was portavoz de la minoria, but you edit PNP and politics articles a lot more often than me, thus I assume that you are more familiar with the tira y hala that we call politica in Puerto Rico, cheers. - Caribbean~H.Q. 16:41, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
This isn't really related to Lolita Lebrón, but I am going to be working with Isolina Ferré shortly, there is a 300-page book that should provide a good ammount of information, but we will need details about her death and postumous honors. Since you seen to have ad-endi access and that newspaper is propierty of the Ferré-Rangel family, could you help me find some relevant articles? - Caribbean~H.Q. 16:51, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
