Tarun Adarsh superlatives

[edit]

Hi there, re: this, I think you went overboard on describing Tarun Adarsh. Simply calling him a film trade analyst or a critic would have been sufficient. "Tarun Adarsh the famous Indian film critic, journalist, editor and film trade analyst" just reeks of puffery. "Famous" almost never belongs in a description, because it's a subjective label that implies we have a point of view (POV) about him, which we should not have. We present content neutrally. I also think you went overboard on the amount of text you quoted, particularly since you didn't balance it out with anyone else's contrary opinion. This tends to make him look like the only voice worth listening to, which is not appropriate for Wikipedia because it constitutes undue weight given to once opinion.

Lastly, the awards content you added is basically unsourced. Per WP:RS/IMDB, we don't use IMDb as a reference because it is user-contributed. We use reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy, like major newspapers and their websites, major magazines and their websites, etc. There were also some significant formatting problems with the award tables you submitted. I've reverted these changes, but you're free to resubmit them when you fix the issues. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:24, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
