[edit]Hello, I'm SmittenGalaxy. I noticed that you recently removed content from AllianceBernstein without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Hi. I cannot figure out how to use the talk page so I am replying directly.
- The issue is that a protest organisation called Boycott, Divestments and Sanctons is seeking to politicise wikipedia articles. A wikipedia editor has inserted complaints about various company's investments in Israel. In this particular case, they information they provided doesn't even make sense...they say that the parent company has only "partially" divested - so what is the issue if AllianceBernstein still holds some stock. In addition, the source they site is very biased and not at all mainstream.
- But the key issue here is that the text I deleted was clearly politically motivated, and not relevant to a reader wanting to find out about AllianceBernstein. What is the best method for policing this? 2403:5811:ACDB:0:886C:E14D:D3DB:B9A7 (talk) 08:27, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
