Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Prazan. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. GermanJoe (talk) 14:14, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Prazan! Just a reminder that edit requests for an article should be placed on the talk page of the article where the changes are requested to be made. Edit requests and/or any posts that you leave on a talk page should always be placed at the bottom of the talk page. Also remember to (Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four keyboard tildes like this: ~~~~. Or, you can use the [ reply ] button, which automatically signs posts.) Thank you!  Spintendo  05:35, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Prazan, I hope you don't mind that I fixed your talkpage post. When using templates, the "tlx" part should be omitted. Template:Tlx just displays the template call and eventual parameters without actively invoking it (for example when you want to refer to a template in a talkpage message without actually using its function). Hope this helps a bit. I also reverted your recent lead change and gave a - hopefully useful - detailed rationale on article talk. Thank you for your interest in improving this article and for respecting Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines. It's appreciated. GermanJoe (talk) 08:43, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
