Welcome!

Hello, Proud Muslim, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} after the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!

Okay, let me teach you. For example, you want to make your signature like this: Proud Muslim , here is how you do it:

[[User:Proud Muslim|<font color= green>Proud</font>]] [[User talk:Proud Muslim|<font color= "black">Muslim</font>]]

Oh yeah, just to note, you can't click on the word "Muslim" on this page as it links to your talkpage. If you want me to help you customise a signature, don't hesitate to ask.
Wait, one more thingI need to teach you:Activate your signature!
  1. . Click on here.
  2. . See the "Nickname" box? Add the HTML code of the signature inside.
  3. . Click on "Raw signature" button.
  4. . Click on "Save preferences".
  5. . You are done! Just type ~~~~ and your signature will appear the way you want it to be.
Okay, I'm done! If you need help, just remember, I'm always here!--Tdxiang (Talk) 02:40, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Singature problems

[edit]

Sorry, but I can't help you fix this. :( How about checking here? Sorry.--Tdxiang (Talk) 07:13, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

deletion request

[edit]

re Sure, I think you did it about right. There are three ways for something to get deleted: It can go through the lengthy process at WP:AFD (for controversial things), the breezy process at WP:PROD (for non-controversial things) or speedy deletion (for obvious things). If you make a page but it's a mistake and nobody else has edited it, then that's covered by speedy deletion, so you did the right thing, and someone has come along and deleted it for you. Cheers! — brighterorange (talk) 21:18, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

category deletion

[edit]

I has been proposed to delete thecateogry "Wikipedians who wear the Hijab" -- of which you are the only member-- and you might want to express your views there, at WP:UCFD. Please note that this would not affect the userbox, just the placement into the category. DGG (talk) 23:06, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the result of the discussion was that it has been merged into the category of Muslim Wikipedians. From your comment on my talk page, I think you'll find that satisfactory. DGG (talk) 21:37, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Amman Workshop 11-12 April 2012

[edit]

This research project (which I am part of) is looking for participants for a workshop in Amman in April. The workshop is about representation of and by the Middle East and North Africa, in various language Wikipedias, and looking at barriers to contribution and ways to overcome them

In particular we are interested in those who edit from or about the Middle East, either extensively, or who have been discouraged from editing more due to on-wiki issues.

Full details at http://www.zerogeography.net/2012/02/open-invitation-to-workshop-in-amman.html.

All the best,
