Another warning

Please *don't* do this [3]. Altering another users comments is bad. Write your own please William M. Connolley (talk) 10:46, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This [4] should have been on User_talk:J123Jordan. For someone claiming expertise in computing, you are displaying remarkable ineptitude in working wiki. You need to learn, or you look (a) incompetent and (b) impolite William M. Connolley (talk) 11:13, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The idea of implementing Inter-Process Communication in the kernel does not belong to Mohsen Sharifi. It is really strange if that was the topic of his PhD thesis because that "idea" wouldn't be original. The main source of ideas in DIPC's design and implementation come from Andrew Tanenbaum's book "Distributed Operating Systems" which has been referenced in DIPC publications. The Linux Journal paper, which seems to be Mohsen Sharifi's last resort, merely states that Kamran Karimi was Mohsen Sharifi's student, which does not imply in any way that Mohsen Sharifi had any influence at all on DIPC. It actually shows that Kamran Karimi financed the DIPC project himself, leaving Mohsen Sharifi as an observer. It would be in Mohsen Sharifi's best interestes to hide this fact. There is not one sign of any interest in DIPC from Mohsen Sharifi before DIPC 2.1 was given to him by Kamran Karimi in 2005, later renamed as C-Sharifi. Mohsen Sharifi should direct all the energy he is spending on claiming DIPC into actually doing some original research of his own. J123Jordan (talk) 05:25, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

DIPC is copyrighted by Kamran Karimi and placed under GPL. Mohsen Sharifi's use of DIPC as a bases of C-Sharifi without releasing its full sources is a volation of GPL copyright laws. Mohsen Sharifi's behaviour can be reported to the appropriate authorities. J123Jordan (talk) 05:25, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
