Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page.

Hi Jamie,
We understand the need to block us from advertising. Our intent was not to profit off of this addition, as we do not actually make any money from the website.
We still believe that adding the site would be a very valuable update to Wikipedia, and we strongly urge you to reconsider your decision. It is understandable if we can not add it on a business account, but to block the site as a whole for no reason is not fair, or just.
We understand the need to not allow for promotions or advertisements as a way to prevent spam, but ours is a legitimate site with many fans and followers that have requested us to add to Wiki, so we were doing so (without realizing it should not be requested by us directly).
We will communicate to our fans that we are not allowed to add our site directly, and that it has to happen organically. If we cannot add the link ourselves, hopefully you would approve an organic request from our fans at some point in the future! We have thousands of followers on socials, so I expect at least a few people will request to add it.
If you are to deny the organic requests, we kindly request a GOOD reason for denying the website domain, as we have not gotten a good reason yet, aside from the xyz domain - which is an outdated spam request, considering MANY of the web3 companies are using the xyz domain for impactful, real businesses. They are NOT spam. Wiki needs to update this spam filter ASAP, as blocking every site with .xyz is not friendly to the future of the internet, or MANY modern companies today. The biggest player in the NFT space, YugaLabs, has a xyz domain. Same with most people. It is the new .com for most...
Thank you for your consideration, and we hope you have a great day!
Sincerely,
