This graphic novel is not by a large publishing firm. It is a factual book created by 3 enthusiasts who had an idea to create an educational, illustrated book to replicate, as closely as possible, the extraordinary chain of events that led to the Soviet success in launching the first man into space. We are funding it ourselves and hope to cover costs of printing and many months of hard work, by sales of books. Extreme lengths have been taken to make this as accurate as possible from building replica models of planes, tanks vehicles feature to speaking with a polish SAS gentleman on correct methods of parachuting from a Polikarpov P0-2 biplane. To date this has been a labour of love and our aim is to allow as wide an age range as possible to understand, not just the Cold War era triumph of placing the first man into orbit around the world, but also and understanding of the humanitarian gestures between ordinary people surviving a Stalinist regime.

I hope this will make you revisit your wish to remove this page and its related links. If there is any way I should amend this entry to accomodate Wiki guidelines, please let me know. This is my first attempt.

Regards, Pyotr

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Sergey Korolyov do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Huntster (t @ c) 22:32, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on User:PyotrV1, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of User:PyotrV1 and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Alexius08 (talk) 10:40, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Pyotr, regardless of your intentions, you must understand that adding links to commercial products is highly frowned upon on Wikipedia, especially when it is thrown across multiple tangentially related articles. If you continue to add these links, I will block you from editing. Huntster (t @ c) 10:06, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
