Giveon Let Me Go

Hello,

Can you please stop undoing my edit on the Giveon's Give Or Take album. I'm an upcoming producer that produced on "Let Me Go" w/ Cardo. My name is spelled wrong and also they never fixed the credits section on spotify. Thank you.

@Jasoncasanova94 well I didn't exactly know it was you making the edit when you didn't have an account. Glad the confusion is cleared up now though. And so you know, you'll want to read up on Wikipedia:Conflict of interest in case you plan on making more edits like this. This website takes CoI quite seriously and I'd hate to see you get in trouble for something as small as writing your own name. QuietHere (talk) 06:03, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
Sorry for the confusion I'm still new to this and will definitely be fixing more of my own name in the future. Thank you, I'll check that out! Jasoncasanova94 (talk) 06:08, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

Merging

Hi, QH! I saw your comment at the Bryan Woods AfD about assuming that merging was complicated. It can be--it depends on the articles involved, but yes, often it's just a copy/paste dump of information, with maybe a little editing to smooth things out at the landing site. You said "After the number of times I've proposed a merger on an article's talk page and seen it go nowhere for months, it just doesn't seem like a viable option." I do a fair amount of work at Project Merge, and the general consensus there is that if you've made a suggestion on the talk page of an article to merge something into it, and the suggestion just sits there for a few weeks...go ahead and merge. You've been around here long enough to know that if editors have an objection to a proposed action, they're DELIGHTED to voice it. If you have questions about merging procedure, feel free to ping me. If I can't answer, I can find someone who can. Cheers! And happy editing! Joyous! | Talk 20:02, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

@Joyous! thank you for the message. I will admit that, as I kinda said in that AfD, I just hadn't tried before. After working on Scott Beck and Bryan Woods I think I've got the hang of it. If it comes up again, I will hopefully feel more confident in my ability to complete the task myself if needed. And I'll keep your advice offer in mind.
