Hi Ragini! It was so great to meet you today in class! I absolutely loved reading about your tutoring sector page today. It had a lot of interesting information that I never really thought about before, and I am a tutor myself! I was thinking about a few pointers that I wanted to share with you if you were wanting to look into them a little more in your edits. First, I was thinking that a lot of the statements in the article could be strengthened with more studies verifying them, possibly even providing statistics about some of them. I was also curious as to how the different types of tutoring was structured. Can some of them overlap? If so, how? Would that affect the level of performance of the student? I was also wondering how each type of tutoring might influence the student's level of performance overall in academics or any other skill. Are there studies on any of these? Another thing that got me curious was if there was a particular method to the overall idea of tutoring. Is there a different approach method in tutoring that is separate from the classroom setting? How does that influence a student's level of learning. Finally, I was thinking about a possible section you could also include in this article: Tutoring Utilization and Accessibility, possibly analyzing the economic access towards tutoring resources, racial comparisons in using tutoring services, and possibly different methods of analyzing performance amongst the population when using or not using tutoring services. Maybe there are other factors to consider? I really hope this helps. Let me know if I can help later on! :)

Hello! I think its a really cool idea to focus your sector article on tutoring because there is such a variety of types that I wasn't aware of! I'm seconding Nikita on adding statistics on successes or failures of the certain types of tutoring if you can find them. Potentially there has been research on increases in test score after a certain type of tutoring compared to another?? Also I think it could be interesting to add examples of the tutoring to differentiate between them but also more specifically to the online tutoring, potentially listing websites or resources. If you want to go even further and look at schools specifically and what they offer as far as tutoring, you might find differences depending on region, demographics of the school, or economic status of the students. If you find research on barriers people face or even debates with the economic disadvantages of some not getting access to tutoring that could be interesting but might push the neutrality. If you do go into the economic angle, maybe there are specific examples of free tutoring or scholarships or things that make it more accessible to students? This is a cool topic, so if you want me to edit and give comments when you've written a bit more I would be happy to! Good luck with writing the rest of your articles! Hi Ragini!! As I said on Wednesday, I really like what you're doing with the Tutor page. I can't wait to see how you make even more improvements. The private tutoring section was very informative but I think it would help the audience even more is if you defined phrases that you used commonly. In this case, what does a classroom setting look like? and how does it contrast with a private tutoring session? As for the academic counseling coaching, I think you did extremely well comparing the differences between tutors and coaches. I remember our group talking about the student-to student tutoring section. I don't remember the specifics too well but I remember our concern was how broad of a component it was. So perhaps defining it or specifying the different types of student to student tutoring would be helpful. This leads into the online tutoring portion. I wish you included some websites for online tutoring. Lastly, please distinguish who does home based tutoring. Is this led by their parents or by a tutor or both?
