Hi. Could you help me out with something on the Case Closed article? Could you archive the "High Grossing Movies of (Year)" sources and update the ref links for them? Thanks. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 08:12, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean by archiving the sources? Do you mean to find a better source of do you mean to update the sources for 2006-2009? Sorry for not understanding. Raychut (talk) 11:18, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I mean like use webcite to store the web pages in case they would disappear one day. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 07:44, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, its being done. Took off some refs to the movie site because it is already updated to the 2010 movie and there aren't any other sources out there to replace it. Raychut (talk) 10:30, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Raychut, I've been planning to get the Case Closed article to B class, and would need some help. Could you clean up the Film Sections for me? Its missing some refs such as theatrical dates and it needs information about the Japan and North American DVD releases. Thanks! DragonZero (talk · contribs) 00:47, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I'll start on it right now. Just a question, does the plot section need a ref? I really can't find any reliable sources at the moment. Raychut (talk) 06:53, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The plot for the films do not need sources, the plot section has been sourced from chapters of the manga though. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 09:21, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Raychut can you do the ani-manga information? I'll be busy and won't be able to get to it this weekend. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 21:19, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Great job on the film manga section. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 06:58, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I was wondering if you could create the article for Katsuo Ono. It doesn't have to be really good but can match Yasuichiro Yamamoto in style. If not, I will have to create it after going through my To do list. Thanks. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 05:13, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, sure, I will start it once I get the time, though I might be a bit busy for the next 2 weeks. Raychut (talk) 02:59, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

Let's discuss about the Magic Kaito episodes. I believe these episodes should remain solely in the Case Closed OVA list since YTV tagged those episodes (From the latest opening and YTV episode archives) as part of the Case Closed series and not Magic Kaito. The episodes are also not numbered, to my knowledge, so they should remain numberless; though this could also be applied to the Shōnen Sunday Original animation also. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 10:18, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The main reason I moved it to Magic Kaito, was because the animation is based on the manga files of Magic Kaito, and those episodes have no connection with the "Case Closed" series except that they were aired in the Detective Conan timeslots. The credits of the episodes are completely different from Detective Conan, showing that inside TMS and YTV, they are treated as two different series. These episodes are not located in the Conan DVDs and they have their own DVD releases called "Magic Kaito - Treasured Editions" and I believe that this should have its own page. I also got there episode numbers from the DVD releases, according to the description from Amazon.co.jp (episode 1, epiodes 2&3). Though I'm still waiting for more DVD releases, I believe that this is enough to start numbering the episodes. Raychut (talk) 10:54, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That gives them numbers. I can't read the credits so I can not determine if they are completely different from the usual Detective Conan ones. The 34th opening has the Detective Conan logo with "Kaito Kid's summer festival" kanji under it which was my reason for leaving it in the Case Closed OVA. Even though they have their own brand of DVD's, I would have probably treated them like the Magic Files series; though that has the Detective Conan logo on it. I'm not quite sure what to do here since it's quite a unique situation. The series could be treated as a faithful adaption of Magic Kaito or just Case Closed OVAs adaption of Magic Kaito. It's one or the other. I'll have to think on this. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 11:25, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just a head up that these episodes are actually based of the Magic Kaito manga (for example episode one is based on volume 1 chapter 1 and episode 2 is based on volume 1 chapter 4), so I really don't think it's the right approach to assume that these episodes are "Case Closed" OVAs, but instead in my opinion this makes this a faithful adaption of Magic Kaito. One more thing, don't OVAs mean that they are released directly to DVDs without TV showings? Wouldn't these episodes be in the wrong place in the first place? Raychut (talk) 12:16, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I always considered OVAs mini series with irregular releases. I guess its fine to transfer the episodes. I'm going to have to redo the Case Closed article to remove all mention of that series now. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 10:04, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, do you want to discuss season 22's season division over at the article page? Thanks. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 05:07, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
