The speedy deletion of this page is contested. Reason: Decocycle is a phrase to be commonly used within the recycle reduce reuse principle focusing on decorating use. It should not be removed as it is a term to associate recycling with reuse of items to save landfill waste, encourage repurposing items rather than throwing them out, and saving money while doing so.

Proposed deletion of Decocycle

[edit]

The article Decocycle has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A non-notable neologism.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Joe Chill (talk) 22:12, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{Hang on}}

Reason: I am not advertising here and can change my name with no problem. Wikipedia is a bit foreign to me, but my page or articles do not deserve to be deleted.

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:RedesignDiva, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for businesses.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page in question and leave a note on this page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calton | Talk 01:15, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
