Newhaven Display International moved to draftspace
[edit] An article you recently created, Newhaven Display International, is not suitable as written to remain published. An article needs more information and citations from reliable, independent sources to remain in the mainspace. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline, has suitable content and thus is ready for mainspace, click the Submit the draft for review! button atop the article. [edit]You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:
- Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Beeblebrox (talk) 00:17, 18 February 2023 (UTC)Concern regarding Draft:Newhaven Display International

Request reason:
`We were attempting to create a Wikipedia page in order to address the high volume of spam we were receiving, as well as to prevent people from being scammed by individuals pretending to be us in other parts of the world. Although our initial draft may have appeared to be an advertisement, that was not our intention. While we will be hiring someone to create our page, we still wish to contribute to the site by making various edits, such as fixing broken links and adding additional information to the electronic category. Additionally, we would like to extend and expand some of the topics that currently need improvement. Newhaven Display International (talk) 15:24, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
"Electronics" is a broad topic area, and you have a clear conflict of interest in at least some aspects of the electronics industry. You will need to be a little more specific as to what you want to edit about and tell how you will be consistent with the conflict of interest policy. 331dot (talk) 09:37, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
You say "we", only a single person should have exclusive access to this account, and they may not share access. If you hire someone to write about your company, they must disclose that per the paid editing policy(you'll need to disclose that, too) and read conflict of interest. Wikipedia has no interest in search results for your company, and that is not a valid criterion for creating an article. You should contact search engines to ask that they reduce confusion in searches. Are there any topics unrelated to your conflict of interest you want to edit about? 331dot (talk) 17:07, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
- Got it. A recent edit I was trying to do is reference #3 on this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_bonding leads to a non-existent or unrelated topic. Newhaven Display International (talk) 17:20, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
- Renamed. The substance of your request will be assessed in due course. 331dot (talk) 17:49, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
