PEER REVIEW
Looking at the lead by itself, we get an idea about poverty rates in Turkey and how UNICEF and the World Bank are involved in estimating and defining poverty. We learn that poverty rates are published at different levels of income and that UNICEF uses one of these rates to estimate child poverty. However, the lead may not fully satisfy our understanding of why this topic is important or the broader context of poverty in Turkey.
After reading the rest of the article, we see that the lead touches on important aspects of poverty rates and estimation methods. However, it may not fully reflect the most important information from the article. For example, the lead focuses on statistics and estimates but does not delve into the underlying causes or impacts of poverty in Turkey, which are crucial aspects of the topic.
The lead seems to give more weight to statistical figures and estimates, which are important for understanding the extent of poverty. However, it may not give enough emphasis to the broader context, causes, and impacts of poverty in Turkey. It could benefit from including more information on these aspects to provide a more comprehensive overview.
Something missing from the lead is a deeper exploration of why poverty rates are high in Turkey, the specific challenges faced by those living in poverty, and potential solutions or initiatives aimed at addressing poverty. Additionally, while the lead mentions poverty rates at different income levels and UNICEF's estimation methods, it could be streamlined to avoid redundancy and focus more on providing a clear and concise overview of the topic.
Most of the statements are from a reliable source so that is a good sign for this article, and there are also many different sources about the topic. Peer review from Ryan Meza — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meza084 (talk • contribs) 03:59, 8 April 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello again @Roach619
I thought my earlier note “inline citations” above and my 29 April reply at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Poverty_in_Turkey#Wiki_Education_assignment:_Sustainable_Futures and your peer reviews might have been enough of a hint but it seems not. Your tutor should have emphasized that citations are one of the most important (maybe the most important) thing in Wikipedia.
Please could you cite the info you have added to Poverty in Turkey Chidgk1 (talk) 15:20, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
