Image copyright problem with Image:Ppwb.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Ppwb.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:10, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Current ppwb logo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Current ppwb logo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Speedy deletion of Prince Park Wiffleball
[edit]A tag has been placed on Prince Park Wiffleball requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guidelines for people and for organizations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Beach drifter (talk) 21:15, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Current ppwb logo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Current ppwb logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:26, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Whiffle Ball
[edit]Hello. I don't mind that you got upset. However I'm not the one that deleted the article you created. I placed a tag on it asking for an admin to look at it, who then presumably deleted it, because it did not meet Wikipedia's guidelines for inclusion. There are guidelines for what is considered encyclopedic content for just about every subject, and in your case specific guidelines referring to sports teams and clubs. Read WP:Notability for details, and more specifically WP:ORG for your situation. Your league must have been the subject of coverage in things such as newspapers and magazines or any other reputable source. If you would like to try again with your article I'd be glad to help but keep in mind that without outside sources documenting the league or it will be deleted quickly. [edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at George W. Bush, you will be blocked from editing. I sure hope that you edits were intended as a joke, albeit a poor one, because otherwise, you might be getting a note from the Secret Service. Newguy34 (talk) 21:15, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to User:Beach drifter. LeaveSleaves talk 18:25, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:AllCapeWelding.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:AllCapeWelding.gif. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 00:26, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Hi, I reverted your edit because being knighted at medieval times doesn't mean anything, it's not being knighted by the queen. Like how little kids do not instantly become pilots just because they are given plastic gold wings on a plane.--Terrillja talk 00:49, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of All Cape Welding
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article All Cape Welding, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- a company with only nine employees fails wikipedia's notability criteria for inclusion
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when.
