Hi. When you recently edited The Talented Mr. Ripley, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page French (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:50, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake, now corrected, thanks. Robert Kerber (talk) 11:53, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Onibaba

[edit]

Hi, thanks for your edits on Onibaba. I am glad to see someone interested in this article. However, I would need some convincing that Shindo based it on Noh. It is not supported by the Keiko McDonald reference, she merely compares it to Noh (her critical analysis, not Shindo's intent). Also the names of the Japanese legends are perfectly correct. The Guardian reference is one I added (please check the page history), so I guess I have read that too. Thanks again for your interest in this article. If you want to discuss it, please use the talk page of Onibaba (film) JoshuSasori (talk) 09:33, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've just started a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film before reading your comment here. I didn't say O. is based on Noh, but is a drama film which uses elements of Noh theater and horror film, which is not my personal opinion but analysis taken from the sources given. Btw, where is the source for the two buddhist plays you (or someone else) mentioned? I only found the one I've added. Thx – Robert Kerber (talk) 09:39, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I opened a discussion on the terms on the talk page of the article. As you can see, the term originally used in the article gets 4,600 google hits, whereas the term you altered it to gets only two hits, one of which is the reference you supplied. I am very happy to see edits on this article but I believe I was correct to remove your edits in this case. I hope to have a happier collaboration in future with you. If you want to discuss any points about this aritcle than let us use the talk page of the article. Thank you again for your edits and interest. JoshuSasori (talk) 09:49, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've found your comment at the Onibaba talk page in the meatime, thx – Robert Kerber (talk) 09:56, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'd strongly advise you to check the links on the talk page of Onibaba (film). The reference you keep adding to the page is user-generated content. The link you provided in the edit summary even confirms this. JoshuSasori (talk) 08:35, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
