A tag has been placed on Quincy Kelly, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Geoffrey Spear 17:28, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to Decatur High School

[edit]

Hi. There was a discussion about your edits to the Decatur High School (Georgia) article on one of the noticeboards. From my reading of the edits, some of them are constructive edits while others are probably intended by humorous. However, another user was concerned about the edits, to the point that a suggestion was made of contacting the school and pointing out that you may have revealed enough information about yourself in the edits that it could be figured out who you are. I pointed out that there is no basis under Wiki policy for any action like that to be taken, and it's not going to happen, but I suggest that you (1) stop making any edits to the article that aren't going to help improve it, and (2) be careful not to give out more identifying information about yourself than you really want to. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Regards, Newyorkbrad 17:04, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
