Thanks for creating Zafarobod, Bukhara Region, S(uz)ak!

Thank you very much for creating this stub. It is still a bit short for being meaningful. Do you know or find anything notable about this town or settlement?

Sultanabad, Uzbekistan

[edit]

Hi S(uz)ak, you created the article Sultanabad, Uzbekistan and also edited the Russian version thereof. In the English artichle, it is indicated that the population was 16.450 in 2005, the Russian article says 2015. Which of them is true and is there a source for it? For the Asian Month 2016 in the German Wikipedia, I choose Fergana Valley as a topic and created articles on some of the canals. Now, I'm supplementing some villages and towns along the courses of those canals, and since Sultanabad lies between two of them, Shahrixonsoy and Andijonsoy, I also created an article for that settlement. Greetings --Bjs (talk) 15:28, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, since you also wrote the article Tinchlik (town): What is the relation between Tinchlik and Oltiariq? On wikimapia, Tinchlik appears to be a small village and Altyarik (which also is rayon capital) a big town, but Tinchlik is a town and Oltiariq merely an urban type settlement. Greetings --Bjs (talk) 15:43, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The population 16.450 was in 2015 year. In English wikipedia a write wrong. But the population 16.450 added another user and dont write a reference. Tinchlik is a town and Oltiariq is an urban-type settlement.--S(uz)ak (talk) 15:03, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your answers. I just wondered because Tinchlik is so much smaller on the map and has much less inhabitants. Do you know why the name was changed from Hamza to Tinchlik? And how it was called before 1963 when it was named Hamza?
Perhaps you can also help me with another problem. On this map, there are two different places called Qoratepa, one north of Margilon and one northeast of Quva. To which of them does uz:Qoratepa refer? --Bjs (talk) 14:57, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I dont know why renamed the town tinchlik. Qoratepa northeast of Quva is a uz:Qoratepa.--S(uz)ak (talk) 15:03, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again. I just wondered because it also has "Farg'ona" in the text. And that Qoratepa northeast of Quva, is it a shahar, a shaharcha or something else? --Bjs (talk) 06:57, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That Qoratepa northeast of Quva, is a village (in Uzbek "Qishloq".--S(uz)ak (talk) 16:19, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. --Bjs (talk) 06:23, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Langar, Uzbekistan

[edit]

Hello S(uz)ak, I deleted the coordinates because they appear to be wrong. Qoʻshtepa district is located north of Fargʻona district, not south of it. IN the Russian Wikipedia, however, even if they are no longer present in the source code, they are still indicated in the infobox and on the top of the page. Do you know the reason? (I ask you because you last edited the article. I first thought you had reverted my changes, but I was wrong there.) --Bjs (talk) 16:51, 10 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
