Edit war[edit]

You are edit warring rather than discussing, and are close to WP:3RR, which can be reported to an admin and result in a day's block. As you are a new user, I ask that you read and understand WP:PLOT and WP:FILM guidelines. We discuss things on talk pages, rather than edit-war.--Tenebrae (talk) 20:42, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That is only your interpretation. I'm sorry you feel that yours is the only correct interpretation. But it is only your POV. The movie does not specify. Since you feel the need to continue edit-warring after I asked for discussion, I am seeking admin intervervention. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:04, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You are over-reacting by suggesting an Edit War, however, the accusation is becoming increasingly more reasonable if directed at yourself, consider your tone in such a short space of time. Please review the scene before continuing and avoid handing out warnings.
You have disparaged interpreting yet you are doing exactly that, or at least misinterpreting matters. The scene clearly shows him raise his finger to his temple to apply his ability as it did throughout the film, to ignore this for just one scene makes no sense whatsoever. As also stated, his dialogue also supports his actions, she promises not to reveal them and then he confirms with, "I know you won't". Should we therefore discount each and every instance of Charles's use of powers? The answer is No, of course. If MacTaggert stuck to her word, she would have given NO information but instead she recounts what fragments are left. If you feel this is worthy of a debate on the Talk page, you should start one. Don't be too proud to concede you might be wrong. Thank you.

Actually it is the start of an edit war. And you've made it clear that any removal of what you want in will be reverted with out discussion. Use the article's talk page to hash out what should and should not go into the plot summary - what is supposed to be a summary of limited length.
Also note that you have reached the point where WP:3rr comes into play and you have more than one editor contesting your addition.

June 2011[edit]

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Talk:X-Men: First Class. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. SarekOfVulcan (talk) 22:42, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A summary of some guidelines you may find useful[edit]

Many thanks for that, Ian.
