The Dinniyeh Group

Why did you move Dinniyeh Group to Takfir wa al-Hijra? They are not the same thing. al-Takfir Wa al-Hijra was founded in Egypt in 1971. 1 2 3 4 SJSA 12:39, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Hello,
I changed that. Could you verify in Dinniyeh fighting which one of Dinniyeh group or Takfir wal-Hijra should be mentionned in the article. Osbat al-Ansar seems to indicate that they are different groups. Thanks. Poppy (talk) 00:15, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Self-published?

I don't see any part of that article which appears to rely on "self-published" sources. Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10 was not self-published, if that was your thinking -- it was a commercial publication. Hey, since we can't revert each other any more -- want to join me in conversation at Wikipedia talk:Image use policy? We can try to at least sort out the argument. Sherurcij (speaker for the dead) 23:07, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

.30 Carbine commentary

Could we please discuss and reach a concensus rather than going back and forth. The process is to first edit and then, if the content is disputed, argue for a concensus on the talk page. I disagree that the .30 carbine is ineffective from a pistol barrel as your reference (which BTW predates the Blackhawk and Johnson pistols) or that it's ineffective for self defense from a rifle either. More to follow, but would you kindly make your case on the talk page in a new section and avoid edit warring? Thanks. --Nukes4Tots (talk) 19:23, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

WMD conjecture

So, if I understand you correctly, your objection is not that Salon magazine fails WP:RELIABLE (because it does not), but rather you object to the tone of the text pointing to the source? Please be specific, because their viewpoints are notable and they belong on this page. Indeed, when I have time, I will expand the section, explaining exactly what it is they have to say. 77.103.88.137 (talk) 16:57, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
