Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Sacalle96, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

You are to be commended for trying to edit Wikipedia, but this topic needs to be written for clinical trial professionals, such as statisticians and epidemiologists, so needs a more thorough and well-sourced revision than you offered with this edit. I'm puzzled why you are working on this article when your course assignment says you are studying osmosis - the two topics are a far distance apart in science. You should speak with your osmosis course supervisor about this. I am notifying Ian (Wiki Ed) who may be able to give some perspective.

I have also proposed merging the minimal content of this article with the main article at Clinical trial where most users would likely look first about how trials are analyzed. I will be completing this shortly.

I hope you will find a more suitable topic to make your Wikipedia editing more constructive for the project and more rewarding for you. Good luck. Zefr (talk) 03:39, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I likely misunderstood the "osmosis" naure of your course - it is not about the osmosis topic, but rather likely a name for the course. I also noticed that you have - apparently - only one other student as a peer-reviewer. This topic requires an instructor-level reviewer, at least, and eventually the article will attract Wikipedia editors who are statistical experts. As mentioned above, the topic of "analysis of clinical trials" is complex for professionals in clinical trial management. A Google Scholar search shows the diversity of topics, journals, expert reviews, and books covering this field. Your last edit is off topic for analysis, but is more about design and management. @Zefr Thanks for the ping. For context "Osmosis" is this org; the class is run by AminMDMA and aimed at medical students and others in the health professions. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:48, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
