[edit]2009 Lions tour
[edit]Excellent work on pulling that article into better shape --Bcp67 (talk) 06:57, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry if it looks like I'm taking exception to everything you do! There's nothing personal about it and its great to see someone getting involved who clearly wants to make the article as good as possible and who also wants to a make real contribution to WP:RU. --Bcp67 (talk) 19:27, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Naming convention.
[edit]I'm not sure where it was discussed, but I'm sure it's in the archives somewhere. I think the upshot was that we fell in line with other sporting projects adopting the same schemes. FruitMonkey (talk) 17:41, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Francois Pienaar image
[edit]I would suggest having a look at the images on Flickr. Provided that an image is marked there as being free or Creative Commons, it can be uploaded here. – PeeJay 10:48, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Francois Steyn Springbok.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Francois Steyn Springbok.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 04:03, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Rugby Pics
[edit]Firstly let me say, thank you for adding those pics but please next time remember to add the licence too all the images and I have seen that you added a few images in commons as well. I'd like to ask you upload these images to commons as well as it allows those images to be used across wikimedia in all language wikis which may have an article on that certain player and ww2censor, please don't just tag images for deletion before checking out all the users uploads as they may have forgotten to add the licences as that section of wikimedia is definitely hard for most new users to understand...--Warpath (talk) 04:40, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
- uhm yes, I added those licenses because admins on this wiki are quite trigger happy. they'll just delete blindly. make sure to add those licences next time you upload a pic and yes Great job, hope u may get more pics during the Europe tour..haha :) .. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Warpath (talk • contribs) 09:07, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Rugby union player categories
[edit]Since we discussed this at User_talk:BrownHairedGirl#CFD-Rugby_players.2Ffootballers, I thought I'd point you towards my nomination of lots of sub-categories at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2009 December 27#Rugby_union_players. I have also notified WT:RU. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 22:13, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

St. George's Park, Port Elizabeth
[edit]Quick question, which I'm hoping you'll know the answer to. Is St. George's Park, PE, the same ground as the "Crusader (or Crusaders) Ground", used in the past for rugby union tests? Cheers. --Bcp67 (talk) 21:32, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry... I only know it for its current cricket usage. The "Boet Erasmus" ground was the traditional home of Eastern Cape Rugby, at least in the last few decades. Have never heard of the Crusader/s in SA, only in the modern NZ Superrugby franchise sense. Hope you manage otherwise!Sahmejil (talk) 16:13, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- I should have actually checked the article before I asked you 0 St George's Oval actually says it also known as the Crusaders Ground! According to a cricket book I've got here it was used as a venue for test rugby until 1955. Thanks for getting back to me anyway, and all the best.--Bcp67 (talk) 19:58, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Call for Wikipedians in Residence in Africa
[edit]Hello,
I hope you are well and thriving!! WikiAfrica has just put out a call for two Wikipedians in Residence. One in Cape Town at WikiAfrica, at the Africa Centre; and the other for WikiAfrica Cameroon in Douala, at doual’art. If you are interested, please contact either Marilyn [marilyn.doualabelldoualart.org] for the WikiAfrica Cameroon call or Isla [islahfafricacentre.net] for the WikiAfrica position in Cape Town.
If you are not interested in applying, I would be very grateful if you could spread this call far and wide among your networks to ensure that both projects get excellent candidates. Here is the link for the information page: http://www.wikiafrica.net/two-wikipedians-in-residence-for-africa/
