Article Suggestions[edit]
Hi, I just finished reviewing your sandbox and I think you're off to an excellent start. The changes I made, which I'm sure you will notice, were mostly grammatical, though I did type in a suggestion to your third paragraph regarding further explanation of domestic language. Generally, as aforementioned, the groundwork you have established thus far is an excellent place to start. I think you would benefit from, as you have outlined in your own writing, further explanation of the topics you have began to discuss. An example of this being, as you note, "...history behind the language and its people." With that being said, I think you have gathered an excellent group of resources, my favorite, in particular, being "An Ethnohistory of Amerindians in Guyana." This source seems to hold an abundance of information relative to your topic and it will likely serve as an excellent resource. Again, I think you would benefit from using the sources you have gathered, and further articulating the information that you are attempting to convey. Delve deep into the information within these sources, and even consider using the sources that those authors, themselves, used in drafting their work. With the baseline you have created, I do not imagine that this will be too difficult. I hope this helped. - Matthew Barsalona
