This is my first Wikipedia article and I'm trying to learn how to create the page.

Merry Alpern is a well known, established photographic artist with publications.

Here are some Amazon results for publications. - http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=merry+alpern

She has also been in the news over controversy several times for her work, taking private moments and making them public spectacles.

See Dirty Windows which was exhibited in London Tate Modern and NYC MoMA. - http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/photoblog/2010/05/

Most recently - http://www.petapixel.com/2013/02/14/the-law-and-ethics-of-pointing-a-camera-lens-into-a-private-residence-as-art/

The reason I created the page is because ironically I couldn't find a picture of her on the Internet, yet her work is ubiquotous and very, very well known in the photographic art world, of which I consider myself close to being an expert.

Hope that helps.

I've noticed that before I had a chance to respond the page was deleted. Where does this stand now? — Preceding unsigned comment added by SamChristopherCornwell (talkcontribs) 19:17, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
