HISTORY OF SAMAKA - CAINTA

February 24, 2008, marks the birth of Samahang Kapitbahayan sa Barangay San Andres Cainta, Rizal, which was formed through a concerned effort of Homeowner’s president of Barangay San Andres. SAMAKA AIMS

SAMAKA, is a non-stock, non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization duly registered with Securities and Exchange Commissions (SEC) and HLURB committed to focus more of its time on peacemaking. Peace is close to God, although peace is very elusive. Samaka is determined to attain it through the various peacemaking and peace building programs whose aim is to protect and insure peace, order and security of the residents of the Barangay San Andres through the accreditation to Barangay Officials, Sangguniang Bayan, and approved to the office of the Mayor, Hon. Ramon A. Ilagan of Cainta, Rizal respectively. There are fifteen (15) homeowners associations in the Barangay San Andres automatically became a member of this organization. We are expecting the other homeowners association who are not a member yet to join this organization and they are very much welcome to come in and integrate as this is the only solutions to overcome the nowadays conflicting situations wherein we, as much as possible to preempt whatever harm inflicted and/or illicited by the bad elements that we are encountering even during broad daylight.

SAMAKA ENFORCER: is the group tasked to resolve crisis and conflicts that affect not only within the laterals of Barangay San Andres but t o our neighboring subdivision as well. They are service-oriented group responsible for the maintenance of peace and order and resident’s safety of SAMAKA subdivision members whose families, if not all, affected the timetable of their quest to earn a living especially on their way-home from work late at night. That’s what Samaka enforcers job through the coordination with proper authorities to as much as possible quench and surmount their irresponsible bad eggs whose modus is to victimized our innocent and law abiding constituents.

The General Principles of Samaka Associations are as follows:

Endeavor to serve the interest of its members through equality of access in the decision-making process, transparency, accountability and the promotion of security in our living environment; Establish its vision, define and periodically assess its mission, policies and objectives and the means to attain the same; and without abandoning its non-partisan character; actively cooperate with local government units in furtherance of its common goals and activities for the benefit of the residents inside and out of the subdivision; and Complement, support and strengthen local government units in providing vital services to it’s members and in helping implement local government policies, programs, ordinances and rules.
