Welcome

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!

Just a few quick tips:

  • Our Tutorial explains how to edit; you can experiment in the test area.
  • We have help pages, and if they don't help (can happen :-), post a question at the Help Desk.
  • Remember that we strive to have unbiased articles.
  • Eventually, you might want to read our Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
  • Use the "Preview" button below the edit box! It helps you catch layout, format, and spelling errors before saving.
  • To sign your messages (to talk pages, for instance—like I do below), add four tildes (~~~~) to your posts. The software will replace them by your signature and a time stamp when you save the page.

Anyway, have fun improving this encyclopedia! Lupo 15:13, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but just cropping and adding a red line doesn't invalidate the original work's copyright. The source map is copyrighted, so the claim that "no rights" were reserved is false. The source web site clearly states "todos derechos reservados". Lupo 15:13, 3 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Juan Carlos Méndez Guédez, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lara (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:53, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Ignatius Hieronymus Berry

[edit]

The article Ignatius Hieronymus Berry has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ...William 11:12, 20 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Tails Wx 23:52, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
