Hi Sara (with no "h"): I was just checking in to see how many students had signed up on the Team Members' section. Thanks for doing so! I'm sending you a message so you can practice sending me one back (although if you'd rather send one to someone else, that's fine too). --Greentina (talk) 00:34, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Sara, I forgot to mention that you should set up your user page too! That is why your name is in red - to signal that you don't have a user page. --Greentina (talk) 00:37, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Sara (without an 'h'). Looks like I'm going to use your user page for my test run. Hope that's OK!--Eye101 (talk) 23:04, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So is this the only way to message someone on here, or is there some IM type function? Wanted to ask you what again your focuses were in Interdisciplinary studies (?), but wondering if it means posting back and forth to one another's pages...--Eye101 (talk) 02:20, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your first edit - Congrats!

[edit]

Hi Sara, Thanks for doing the edit. Let me know if it stays or goes! --Greentina (talk) 03:31, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sara, one of your OA's here. That was an excellent first edit. Well written, good use of attribution and quotes, and a proper inline reference to boot. I would say it was well placed in the article. One thing you could add is an ISBN to the reference. Cheers, The Interior (Talk) 06:52, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your Article

[edit]

Hey Sarah! The bison page looks amazing. Great work! One thing I noticed while you were doing your presentation though, is that there are a number of places where the punctuation and citations are a little wonky. Like this: "forage[17]." - the period should be inside the citation. I know it's a nit picky thing, but it'll make the page look cleaner. Anyway, I'm willing to bet your article gets "featured" one of these days :). Take care, --Eye101 (talk) 17:48, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Woah look what someone pointed out to me: Wikipedia:LQ#LQ Wikipedia has a different convention than regular (North American? Canadian?) English does. "On Wikipedia, place all punctuation marks inside the quotation marks if they are part of the quoted material and outside if they are not." Guess it's more complicated than just putting all punctuation inside the quotations. --Eye101 (talk) 04:31, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
