Hi Sarah, please see the information I added here and here, I'd appreciate a response. Thanks! TRAVELLINGCARIMy storyTell me yours 15:40, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi Cari, My problem is that I am a new user to Wikipedia and actually don't know how to format or post my responses. I'm used to communicating by emails, etc. I am not disputing the name 'Klauber' just the names 'Jacqueline' and 'Norma.' My point is simply that various, incorrect variations of Marchais' name have been published and reprinted, although they are inaccurate, including in the New York Times. In academia, the most recent research generally updates previous research.
- Hi Sarah, sorry for the delayed response as I've been offline. I know that recent research is considered to be an update of previous research but unless it completely refutes the prior research and proves it to be incorrect (in general terms), I don't see how your research proves the other was wrong. Do you see what I'm saying? TRAVELLINGCARIMy storyTell me yours 19:22, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- The research I did does refute prior research and proves it to be incorrect using source material that was not used by the prior researcher.
