Information icon Hello, I'm DMacks. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Hazardous waste, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Advanced Chemical Transport

[edit]

Hello SaryaS90,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Advanced Chemical Transport for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. BoxofPresents (talk) 02:40, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Response to your Message

[edit]

Unfortunately, it's true that standards are not applied consistently. A lot does depend on which admins and other patrolling editors happen to see the article. However, one good way to keep an article in Wikipedia is to make sure that sources not directly linked to the topic are cited. If you can't do that, it might mean that the article is not something that should be in Wikipedia. On the other hand, we do have many articles that should not be kept if these standards were applied strictly. I hope that helps a bit. I will also say that I have not ben as active here for the past five years or so; I just decided to become more active again, so I am trying to take in some of the changes since I was most active between 2004 and 2008. Re-consider

[edit]

Is there a chance to re-create my article? Is there a way to retrieve it? :( Will just have to rebuild it to not violate the rules. Is this possible? :( Thanks. SaryaS90 (talk) 5:45, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
