Welcome Skating Fan[edit]

Hi Saysthiguoy and welcome to Wikipedia!

I replied to your question on my talk page. I'm far from an expert user myself, but I'll answer what I can. A couple great places to ask questions are WP:HelpDesk and WP:Teahouse.

I wanted to mention citations - your current method is acceptable though not preferred. Try using the 'cite templates', e.g. Template:Cite news for news articles (including those published online) and Template:Cite web for other websites. Though sources available online are preferred, if you have access to books (e.g. on Michelle Kwan or on skating), you can use Template:Cite book to source information from the books. An example of a pretty well cited figure skater article is Mao Asada's. A couple ref formats I use often are:

<ref name= >{{cite news |last= |first= |date= |title= |url= |newspaper= |location= |publisher= |accessdate=11 May 2024}}</ref>
<ref name= >{{cite web |url= |title= |last= |first= |date= |website= |publisher= |accessdate=11 May 2024}}</ref>

Good luck with your edits! Kirin13 (talk) 07:13, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
