Information icon Hello, I'm Jake Brockman. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Bikaner have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Please also review WP:NOT as the addition seemed written like a tour guide. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 10:37, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Content addition

I did not knew that. Sure, I shall write about this Centre in the manner that is acceptable to wikipedia. Currently, I am Officer Incharge of this Centre and we ultimately wish that people should know about the horse breeds of India and the research work going on. We had started equine ecotourism for the same purpose and we are also not the owner of souvenir shops. But, for sure, this platform will have quality information and not the advertisement. Hi there and thanks for letting us know. If you are an officer of the centre, you have a conflict of interest and you may be regarded a paid editor. Wikipedia strongly discourages writing about things you are connected to (such as people, companies etc). Paid editing requires certain disclosures and adherence to specific processes. You can familiarise yourself with those by following the links I provided in this message. In the meantime, I have undone your changes to National Research Centre on Equines. If you have any questions, please let me know. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 08:11, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
