Proposed Georgia Move

[edit]

As a past participant in the discussion on how to handle the Georgia pages, I thought you might be interested to know that there's a new attempt to reach consensus on the matter being addressed at Talk:Georgia (country)#Requested_Move_-_July_2006. Please come by and share your thoughts to help form a consensus. --Vengeful Cynic 03:55, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dot Project

[edit]

I'd love to work on the Pennsylvania dot map project, in particular Lancaster County, however I do not have nor know where to get an image of Lancaster County with its subdivisions like other cities in other states have. Putting a dot on the whole map of Pennsylvania just doesn't seem as good. Any ideas? Thanks. Ram-Man 18:44, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kent-Meridian High School, I just thought you'd like to know that the consensus for deleting High School articles now appears to be swinging back in favor of deletion. So this may indicate the beginning of another campaign to remove most High School articles. Your opinion on the AfD article would be appreciated. It might be helpful if a notability standard for High Schools could be agreed upon. Thank you. — RJH (talk) 16:35, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm wondering where I should ask for a red dot map for Eulonia, Georgia. Thanks, Badagnani 00:02, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, still wondering how I should go about doing this; is there someone else making such maps these days? I'm guessing, not having heard back from you, that you don't like to make them any more? (But that's just a guess, as I'm not really sure.) In any case, I appreciate your response very much. Badagnani 04:13, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is this project completely defunct? Badagnani 06:15, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Heads up

[edit]

Hey there. I been gone for a while fromt he WikiProject Film (Was taking a lonmg hitus), and I got back into the grove of things last night realting to the project by creating a "new" home for the project. Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/Sandbox Design is here right now. Most of it is done of course. I didn't move the "member" list or guestbook into the area nor created the sub-pages for the "Guidelines" yet. Just thought I let you know, since you started this project way back in the day. (#23 on the list, known as ^BuGs^) then... Shane (talk/contrib) 11:02, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I made the ones I was referring to more precise, so it's good. I'll take off my suppose vote.Dan 19:30, 21 July 2006 (UTC) great article by the way.[reply]

I was using a different converter, but i believe you if you say google is right. - see [1]

My apologies, the converter i was using was giving me a result before squaring. So, as i knew that a kilometer was more than half of a mile, I put that down. Again, sorry for the mix-up.Dan 19:55, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AFD

[edit]

Heya Seth, it appears that List of media personalities who have vandalised Wikipedia was PRODed. I've placed it on AFD. Could you make a comment on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of media personalities who have vandalised Wikipedia as to whether it should be deleted? Thanks! - Ta bu shi da yu 13:12, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Denver Post

[edit]

I see you read the Denver Post article too, huh ? I find it ironic that a paper which I find inaccuracies in on a daily basis criticizes the wikipedia, calling it "drivel". Your edit proves the strengths of wikipedia (unlike the Denver Post/RMN)- as soon as a mistake was found, it was corrrected. Jcam 00:46, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
