Regarding the Chipmunks articles you created

[edit]

I have deleted the two articles that you created about the Chipmunks as Wikipedia already has articles on Alvin and the Chipmunks. Instead of creating new articles that duplicate content, please edit the existing articles. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 19:09, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edits that you made to the pages Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Chipettes, and The Chipmunk Adventure have been reverted, as they appear to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. WikiLubber (talk) 19:41, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:36, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, I recommend that you read this article before continuing to edit Wikipedia. I have removed certain information from your user page. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:41, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated E.B.M. Smith, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/E.B.M. Smith. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Andreasm just talk to me 08:15, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on E.B.M. Smith requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
