Datupedia is a backlink analyzer

The inspiration for Datupedia came to me when I was using Chat-GPT. I noticed how the system was able to integrate information about a concept on Wikipedia which was not on the original Wikipedia page. My initial conclusion was that the model was hallucinating facts. But on second thought, I realized that there is information on Wikipedia about a concept which isn't on the Wikipedia page. I thought about what would be the best way to obtain this information and came to the understanding that a concept on Wikipedia can be understood in two ways. The first way is the traditional Wikipedia page. This page contains information about the concept along with hyperlinks to other concepts which are important. However, in a way, this page also contains information about the concepts to which it links. What this alludes to is the use of "What links here" to extract information about a concept which is not on the original Wikipedia page.

Datupedia is a generated representation for the backlink information. The main feature of the representation is the hierarchical cluster analysis. This analysis gathers similar topics while separating different topics as well as differentiating between general topics and specific topics. What readers are able to do while reading a Datupedia page is explore, from the most general to the specific, the differences in how a concept is understood.
