I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Roland Rivron sandwich, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Acton

[edit]

Thanks for helping to work on the article, but a heading of "Stardom in Acton" isn't really appropriate. I reverted your other edits in case you were vandalising (which in hindsight you weren't). Feel free to put your other changes back. Hut 8.5 18:47, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok thanks for that. 'The Stardom in Acton' bit came from the song 'Stardom in Acton' by Pete Townshend from The Who. Seeing as he was from Acton, and the Who's impact on popular music was not trivial, I thought that it didn't fit under the headline 'trivia'.Skealey 18:52, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It does talk about other bits of trivia though. I've put some of your edits back. Hut 8.5 18:54, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cool. Thanks. It's getting better, that page.. Skealey 18:57, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Acton Park1.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
