August 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Robvanvee. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Girls Ain't Nothing but Trouble, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Robvanvee 08:37, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I think I edited the right way this time. I made a mistake with august it’s July 1986. I also provided a source. Snpbcks (talk) 09:01, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Robvanvee 09:26, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
However, you have done the same thing at T.O.N.Y. (Top of New York). Please be sure to reliably source your edits. Robvanvee 11:54, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sure thing but I can’t put a source next to the release date Snpbcks (talk) 11:56, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed it Snpbcks (talk) 12:03, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Great, thanks. AllMusic is a better source than the one you used in the Girls article. That source denotes the songs charting date. If you're interested check this page out for reliable/unreliable sources. Robvanvee 12:09, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Great thanks for the page. I know the 1st source wasn’t a great one. But it showed that the song already chatted before September 1986 and the page said the release was in September, that’s why I changed it. Snpbcks (talk) 12:15, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I hear what you are saying but in that case it is better to just have the year than to speculate the month as we should only add details if they are verifiable. Robvanvee 12:24, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
