Messing Pixar Infobox

[edit]

Please explain why you're restoring incorrect infobox edits on the Pixar article. If you're new to Wikipedia and don't know the policies, please make sure you understand them properly before editing.

  1. "Formerly" parameter names means former names, not current names. You can't list current names in the "former" list. That's basic English.
  2. Owner and Parent parameters reflect the current parents, not former parents and owners.
  3. Years in infobox should not be bolded because it gives WP:UNDUE weight to the wrong context.

What logic/policies are you following or are you just vandalising Wikipedia? Starforce13 00:27, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Starforce, I’m just going to address the most impactful statement you made: your assumption that I am “just vandalising Wikipedia.” Frankly, I find your comment rude, insulting, and at the very least bordering on a personal attack if not a personal attack outright. - Soft serve starfish
So, you don't have a reason for reverting the corrections I made? If you're going to insist on reverting correct edits without giving any explanations or taking it to the talk to argue your point, it's hard to think that the intent is not malicious. You're not going to see any well maintained Wikipedia company article that makes years bold or lists current names as former names. If you don't have any solid reason for doing it that way, please do a self-revert so we don't need to keep this going on. Starforce13 00:36, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Head's up re: edit warring

[edit]

Just as a heads up, because it looks like you are new to editing WP: If you revert 3 times you could be blocked. See WP:EDITWAR.–CaroleHenson (talk) 00:49, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
