Information icon Hello. Your recent edit appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. --VVikingTalkEdits 14:55, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That's okay, if telling the truth about a person based on facts is spamming, then so be it....we are talking of Palacio surnames here and I contributed about a certain Palacio who although has not the privilege to be known worldwide has made himself notable only that an external link declare it...it's not self promotion, the mere fact that he is surnamed Palacio evinced that mentioning him is not out of topic....no more, no less... Solezrael76 (talk) 22:46, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Mhm. What's your connection to the person? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:51, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
None, I just read over the LinkedIn and he has this impressive background worthy of emulation, the fact that he is Palacio is the only reason that motivates me to include his name in the list of notable Palacio's...in any case, LinkedIn is considered a reputable pool of professionals thus there's no reason that every person who has vital information shared therein are fakes. Besides, Wikipedia has this portion in the edit inbox allowing external links be uploaded therein... Solezrael76 (talk) 00:03, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Mmmm, by the tone of your phrase it seems that you are judgemental, pardon for the description....
The Palacio we're talking here is not even aware of what I did for what a one sentence description can do about his life when my objective is to promote him? Solezrael76 (talk) 00:08, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • judgmental.... Solezrael76 (talk) 00:09, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Solezrael76, LinkedIn profiles are self-published and thus unusable as Wikipedia references in most cases. They are definitely unusable for determining notability (see WP:42 for an oversimplified summary).
I have a hard time believing that you have no conflict of interest in this matter, but if that's true, it should be relatively easy to accept that the type of editing you joined Wikipedia for isn't welcomed on Wikipedia. That's okay. The Task Center is full of ideas for actually helpful contributions. If there's something specific you'd like to do, please create an unblock request that answers the following questions:
    • What led to the block?
    • Why can we be sure it won't happen again?
    • What would you like to do instead? (Be as specific as possible, provide a few article names and what you'd like to do there.)
If there isn't, that's fine too; Wikipedia is a volunteer community and there is no time limit for creating an unblock request. Simply create one if ever interested, even if that's after years. Take your time. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:48, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    Am no longer interested...
Anyway, I suggest that the "external" link feature in the edit mode be dropped to avoid "self-interested" persons dilute your pre-conceived "conflict of interests" here to avoid judgmental conclusions.
I repeat, I don't have the slightest intention to promote any person, am sure it will not make anyone grow money in a phrase or two... It just so happens that I come across this topic, and because I thought it was about the Palacio's, among the billions of people in the world I just cannot think that because I introduce a topic which is "irrelevant" to the article, I would be bluntly accused of "self-promotion".
    Thanks, anyway.... Solezrael76 (talk) 01:42, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
